GrassRoutes: Road trips for Social Change

Has it ever happened to you that everything you thought you would ever want to do if you were given a platform, came true. For me it did! or at least the opportunity exists. In the form of GrassRoutes

This blog post is specially for backpackers and all the seekers of the unknown, out there. If you love travelling and love adventure. There is something big waiting for you.

Grass Routes is an organization which can not only help you do this, but it also gives you an opportunity to inspire change and make a difference. I just came across this through twitter and I don’t want my readers to loose this opportunity to change the world!

According to their handbook, Grassroutes is

a Fellowship Program for youth to go on road-trips for social change. Traveling across India, meeting change-makers, working with social ventures, learning developmental issues, living on less than a day, these youth return with stories of social change, and the program enables them to use these stories to inspire a larger community.

Grassroutes is an amazing opportunity for all you young people out there who want to explore the unknown and want to see the real India.

Its a one month long program and the last date for applying is 1st March,2010.  Only 50 change makers will be selected from all over India, so you need to work extra hard to get selected!

You should check out their website for more details at grassroutes.in
