Kasab is getting hanged? What’s the point?

Kasab is getting hanged? I mean why?

Didn’t he come to India on a suicide mission? And we are just giving him what he came for?

And the media and everyone else is touting this has the victory of the Indian Judiciary? Arrey, how? You are just giving him what he came in here for, in the first place. In fact, getting hanged is less painful and easier than getting shot and dies bleeding on the streets.

We might brag about how justice loving we are. When we already knew that he was the terrorist, and we caught him ‘red handed’ killing our people. Even then we spent more than an year and a fortune to just keep him in his special jail and give him world class treatment. Wow!

But why are we doing this? He killed our people. He killed our freedom and we give him what he wants?

To hell, with the international community. I don’t want to be called a justice loving Indian. I don’t need all the moral bullshit.

I want him punished. I want him to be used to set an example for every jihad loving idiot out there who believes that he will go to jannat if he kills non-Muslims. I want to see the same fear in his eyes that he brought in ours. I want revenge, and not a silent death for him.

But I am a rationalist. I am angry. I am ranting. But I so wish, I could forget all logic for a moment and just kick his ass. I so wish

More than 150 people dead, 1 person sentenced to death…but we are still rejoicing the triumph of justice…I suppose justice can be done only when the ‘The Mastermind’ is caught…and don’t know when that can happen….
And you are absolutely right, Punish him as no one as been punished in past…his death should bring shivers to those who think India as a Soft Target…sue those bullshits

True. Punishing him wouldn’t really serve the greater purpose

Don’t agree! You have already read my blog Why Death for Kasab? http://thenewdimension.wordpress.com/2010/05/07/why-death-for-kasab/
Some more points, to counter some of your points. 1st, thinking that Kasab wanted to go to Jannat by embracing death is a faulty idea. when he was caught during 26/11 operations, he behaved as dead to mislead police. Was he really not afraid of being caught and death? Why so many flipflops in the court during the trial? Why at first he claimed that he is a minor? Make no mistake, he was fearing the death. Remember the Mountain Dew lines: Darr sabko Lagta Hai :)

I have read your post and I still don’t see a point in hanging him. I understand what you have said in your post but I dont even want life imprisonment for him. I dont really know what should be done with him. All that I have said here is that i dont want him to die so easily.

and May be he is afraid now, but I dont think he was when he came here to kill. How would a scared man do such things?
